Not only do they hold advanced proficiency certification in one of the most specific chiropractic adjusting techniques, Torque Release Technique (TRT), they are also both proud Fellows of the Holder Research Institute. This is the highest honor within TRT and has only been achieved by a handful of practicing doctors.
Dr. Nick and Dr. Brielle met at chiropractic school and shared a vision to enlighten the lives of others through drug-free health care from the day they met. They have travelled all across Canada and the USA to learn from Dr. Sony Canteenwala of Holder Research Institute Canada and the creator of the technique himself, Dr. Jay Holder of Holder Research Institute. Together, they have attended over 30 Torque Release Technique seminars.
Before they were married, both Dr. Nick and Dr Brielle served at different times as president of the largest Torque Release Technique club in the world. They have taught hundreds of students the skills required to practice the technique that they use in the office to provide gentle, effective care for the entire family.
Dr. Brielle Egilson
Dr. Brielle was just eight years old when chiropractic adjustments became a part of her weekly routine. Though she had been under care nearly her entire life, she didn’t recognize all the signs pointing her towards chiropractic as a profession until a course outlining human biology and physiology at the University of Winnipeg. Before she knew it, she was learning from the infamous Dr. Sony Canteenwala from Torque Release Technique Canada and was on her way to the largest chiropractic school in the world, Life University, in Marietta, Georgia.
Along with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Brielle holds Diplomate status through the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders, qualifying her to skillfully work with those with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She is also certified in the Webster Technique and she is a member of both the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and International Chiropractic Association (ICA). Dr. Brielle is Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) and has completed an additional 200 hours of coursework to further enhance her skills in serving the pediatric and perinatal populations.
Outside the Practice
When she is not busy working, Dr. Brielle enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Dr. Lee, and her vizsla, Duke. She is also a lover of yoga, live music and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Nick Lee
Dr. Lee’s chiropractic story began when he was a 4-year-old with chronic ear infections. After countless rounds of antibiotics and the dread of another set of tubes in his ears, his mom took the advice of a friend and brought her son to see a chiropractor. After only a few adjustments, the ear infections were gone and never came back!
As a high school athlete, he visited a chiropractor to help him maintain his health and remain active after sustaining several injuries while on the football field. It was as a college student that Dr. Lee naturally leaned toward studies in health sciences and came to realize his passion for chiropractic care. Shortly after that, he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
In addition to his degree in chiropractic care, Dr. Lee is a member of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and holds Diplomate status through the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders (ACACD).
In His Spare Time
Outside the practice, Dr. Lee is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with his beloved pup, Duke and wife, Dr Brielle. He also appreciates the outdoors, golfing and the eye-opening experiences that come with traveling.
